Paper Towns
Paper Towns is an adventurous, interesting, and unique book that I thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that the plot in Paper Towns is an exciting plot; the idea of cryptic clues gives the novel an exciting vibe.
I like the idea of how Paper Towns is split into three parts; The Strings, The Grass, and The Vessel. Each section represents a metaphor that is used throughout the book. The Stings is about breaking and irreversible change; The Grass is about friends, family, and memories; The Vessel is about adventures and final destinations. John Green has done a remarkable job with making the metaphors magnificently beautiful and interesting.
I am still confused as to how the dead body is relevant to the book. I do understand that the section of the book is about the strings breaking, but I still don’t know how the dead body affects the book.
I admire the idea of how everyone has different memories of Margo, so each character has a different idea of her, but everyone eventually realises that she is just an ordinary person. The ending of Paper Towns is heartbreaking, but I believe it was a very suitable ending for Paper Towns.
To conclude, Paper Towns is a significant and funny book with fun characters and beautiful metaphors. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and puzzles, and I think anyone could gain something from reading Paper Towns.
